Here is Jacob with his best friend who lives next door, Owen Read. They are waiting for school to start. It's their first day, and Jacob is totally excited and ready to go! Owen, on the other hand, looks a bit apprehensive. They are enjoying being in the same class with Mrs. Brinkerhoff as their teacher. They started out at the same table, but Mrs. Brinkerhoff quickly realized they had a little bit too much fun together, and they were split up recently.
